Nathan S. Shane, D.P.M.

Dr. Shane is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon focused on reconstructive surgery, sports-related injuries, arthroscopy, and foot and ankle trauma.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Dr. Shane received his undergraduate degree from the University of Akron. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. After pursuing his residency training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, he then went on to complete his foot and ankle surgical fellowship at the renowned Weil Foot & Ankle Institute in Chicago, Illinois.
This extensive training and experience have also afforded him the opportunity to be highly involved in multiple research projects and lectures at the profession’s largest national scientific meetings.
Dr. Shane spent the first several years of his career practicing at a well-established orthopaedic practice in Indiana. He is excited to bring his skills and experience to YOA and return to Northeast Ohio. In his free time, Dr. Shane enjoys being a sports fan, golfing, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Shane is currently accepting new patients in our Poland and Warren offices.
