The Orthopaedic Surgery Center is the FIRST Ambulatory Surgery Center in the state of Ohio to offer Mako SmartRobotics™ for hip and knee replacements. Mako SmartRobotics allows our surgeons to KNOW MORE about their patient’s unique anatomy and CUT LESS with Mako’s AccuStop™ haptic technology, which is the robotic-arm technology that guides the surgeon to cut exactly what was planned and essentially cut less of your healthy bone. Mako robotic technology allows our surgeons to be more precise and accurate with hip and knee replacement surgery and may show better patient outcomes compared to manual surgery.
